A tiny Feathertail Glider baby (pictured snoozing on a cobweb broom) was miraculously discovered at work by the mother of a WINC member, who kindly drove it to an experienced rescuer.
Rescued after a storm, these soggy Tawny Frogmouth babies were having problems getting their flying act together.
An afternoon beside the sea side...
It was a good thing a rescuer was dressed for the beach ; as soon as he got home from another rescue, he was phoned by a Ranger about a Penguin that was in strife.
A baby turtle, only about 13 cms (5 inches) long, was seen swimming in circles so close to the shore at Fingal Bay, he was occasionally washed up. WINC to the rescue!
